Welcome to Evanston

Favorite Restaurants:

  • Campagnola - it has an amazing quaint atmosphere for a quality Italian dinner with impeccable service. A true dining experience where you can sit down for appetizers and stay through dessert without feeling rushed.
  • Union Pizzeria - it has a fun social scene in the bar area and before live music concerts at Space - music venue in the back of the restaurant. Great small bite options and the best mac and cheese on Thursdays!
  • 10 Mile House - is consistent and cozy. They have one of my favorite salads and I love to sit at the hightops at the bar.
  • Mustard’s Last Stand - this is a favorite in my family. My boys love the Polish Dogs and I always get an order of their fries!

Shopping:

  • Stella Boutique on Central Street - it always has affordable, fun and comfortable options and great jewelry and gifts. Rachel, the owner, is awesome!
  • Notice - it is another go-to place on Central Street. I like to go in here if I want something a little more tailored, but still comfy and casual. They always have a great sale rack.

Home to Northwestern University, the city of 75,000 residents, hugs Lake Michigan and is the first suburb north of Chicago. The urban suburban lifestyle is alive here. Summertime in Evanston is electric with beach and water activities and a set of diverse city festivals. There are 6 different public swimming beaches and tons of green park space adjacent to beaches.
